I know this is a pretty old topic, but I usually tottle through the topics just to see what is going on. It started with "Why can't they put some flavor in adult vitamins?" and ended up with the "taste of puffed wheat". In between is everything you wanted to know about vitamins, which is something new I learned today(under another topic). Where else could you find stuff like this ? I could just picture all these people sitting around having this conversation and the ending quote of the conversation " I hate the taste of puffed wheat". I'm still laughing...  :bouncegiggle:

Beer. Its full of vitamin P.

It may interest some to know that our Puritan forefathers drank beer with every meal, breakfast , lunch and dinner, apparently it was considered to be part of the food groups, like milk or eggs and not primarily a social drink.

Now for the vitamin topic, as a youngster there were only a couple of vitamins available, my mother (registered nurse) made sure we got what we needed, occasionally I would chew the vitamin, they pretty much tasted like ****. Later on with this in mind I got Flintstones flavored chewable vitamins for my daughter, she stopped taking them after a couple days, when asked why she told me they tasted bad, I tried one, found that she was correct, to me it tasted like fruit flavored ****. So now I take Centrum Silver, and I don't chew.
