male and female leads escape some sort of swamp creatures in chopper

the film i believe takes place in swamp and there are these humanoid ghoul creatures walking around attacking people ?...all i remember is that in the end they escape by helicopter at night. late 70s or early 80s. pretty vague info to go on i know but thats all i can remember..thanks

I know in the original DAWNof the DEAD,they ecscape the zombies by chopper,as well as in DAY of the DEAD.

Perhaps Jungle Heat AKA Dance of the Dwarfs. An old childhood mystery that I have just recently rediscovered.
