Oh, one more thing... does anybody else know of any other horror movies with a New Year's Eve theme. Not necessarily slasher.

"Bloody New Year" and "End of Days."  At least, I think "End of Days" qualifies - it was set around the workup to the new year.

"Strange Days" might qualify.  I cannot remember if "Miracle Mile" was set on New Years Eve, or the situation just caused that sort of human chaos feeling.

The original "Time Machine" was set on New Years eve if memory serves.  I think that Rod Taylor's friend talks to him about the change to the new year.
