A tiger, May-December romance, and a bunch of signs.

The movie I'm wondering about was a love story.  Not my cup of tea but, I caught this on TV long, long ago and, for some reason, suddenly have a burning desire to know what it was.

I *think* it goes like this ...

A young man is attacked by a tiger (How?  Why?  Don't ask me.), survives, and goes to the hospital.  There, he meets an older woman, his nurse, and falls for her.  Once recovered, this young fellow strikes up a romance with her.  I remember that she gets pregnant and decides to have an abortion, but backs out when the behavior of another woman at the abortion clinic disgusts her.  For some reason, the nurse decides to leave the young man but he sets up seemingly hundreds of signs that say "LAST CHANCE" - to take him back, I suppose - along the only road out of town and this convinces her to stay with him.

The movie is "A Tiger's Tale", starring C. Thomas Howell and Ann-Margaret, of all people.
