obstacle course in mad max beyond thunderdome type movie

Anybody remembers this?

There was a movie i watche in the 80s that had a guy or maybe 2 guys in
a kind of Mad max 3: beyond thunderdome setting; you know, postapocalyptic
punks screaming to the contestants, cages made of rusted metal with spikes,
and the obstacle course had rolling cylinders with blades and spikes. Thats all i
remember, but finding the correct title has proved most difficult.

That's what I was thinking too.  Was Molly Ringwald the one running through the obstacle course?

Pretty good cheese fest, I've been meaning to pick it up.
