Ever notice, on a lotta old films...the opening credits are better than the movie itself? AIP had some great ones...as did Sam Sherman's IIP Productions. And of course...the master-Saul Bass!

Nobody's really responding to this thread but part of that may be due to not being able to find some credit sequences online.  There are quite a few I would have mentioned but don't seem to be posted anywhere on the web.  I'm going to bite the bullet, grab a freeware lame-o ripper and youtube some from my collection this weekend.

In the meantime, since this film falls into the 'Bad Movies' category for some people(Heathens!   ) I'll just go ahead and stick it here.

Ladies and gentlemen, the phenomenal Chuck Braverman opening montage from MAKE ROOM! MAKE ROOM!

What a perfect meld of images and Fred Myrow's effective jazz/pop influenced theme.

ps on a related film credits note...I found this interesting film on Saul Bass on googlevid uk: http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-1343063261314199679&q=title+sequences
That's my driver's license picture....I hate that picture!"

I just searched for "Saul Bass" on youtube. These are just three I particularly liked from the first page that came up.
