Ok all new to the board but i had to do SOMETHIN. Not knowin the name of this movie is KILLING ME! I saw this movie on PBS I believe YEARS n YEARS ago. Its a type of stop motion animation but not claymation or anything like that. Its actually like just a bunch of pictures which are slowly transitioned into the next. Its difficult to describe the style actually. All I can really remember of it is a part where these android looking alien creatures walk along a sidewalk and admire these little "gnome" like people that live in mushrooms. Previous to the android alien like creatures stopping to observe these gnome like creatures(which the aliens called trogs) the mushroom gnomes had engaged in a type of territory war between each other. They had canon like devices that had shot orbs of some kind at the opposing side. When they retreated into the mushrooms they then could go underground into various caverns and such. At one point the mushroom gnomes trapped one of the android type alien creatures and tied him down as in the story Gulliver's Travels.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if anyone can give me some insight to this movie i would be forever grateful. Not necessarily because its a good movie but because not knowing is destroying me mentally haha.

There's actually a specific section for this. :)

Refer to the "What Was That Film" board.
