Oh my god, what a stinker! Rubber exploding dinosaurs which can be killed with punches and thrown pencils, a cardboard box fetish (cardboard boxes can knock people out apparently), "android" men who make the sound of a remote controlled car, hilarious editing, some of the worst acting you will ever see! Stunningly bad for a film made in 1996. What a joke! Anybody seen it?

I'm trying to forget the experience but yes. Hand puppet explosive dinosaurs, the boxes, knives that magically return to your hand after being 'thrown', the boxes, the awful attempts at 'cool' POV shots, the boxes, the wooden lead actress, the boxes...

It amuses me that a SWAT team cannot deal with a dinosaur, despite unloading their weapons into it.  The main character then runs up and attacks the towering predator with his knife, killing it.  Oh, and Robert Z'Dar's face sticking out from under all that cyborg costume.

If there isn't a Bad Movie Law explaining that one, there should be. Something like 'The authorities are useless, no matter what sort of training (and firepower where appropriate) they possess'. Then again, I suppose it could just be a specialized case of IITS.

Seen it and reviewed it.  Future War is the blood stained carpet at a crime scene no one can clean.  It's the kind of movie you try to block out of your mind like a bad trauma.  Like the Bermuda Triangle, no matter what stories you hear about it, no one believes it's real. . until it's too late.

Now you've seen it and, like the rest of us, will be scarred for life.
