Greetings from my Living Room... in the Future!

Meh.

All right, I'm getting ready to start a movie club (same idea as a book club, except we watch movies. Novel, I know).  Our first round is dedicated to Ed Wood (Plan 9 from Outer Space, Jail Bait, and Night of the Ghouls).  Any suggestions on discussion questions or interesting facts about those movies to share with my group?

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum SquirellQueen.

First subject I would like to bring up is why did Ed Wood like Angora Sweaters so much?

Gracias!  And yes, I think the angora question would make for a good one.  And now I'm trying to remember if angora played a part in any of his other movies.

Didn't Lobo have a strip of angora he frequently rubbed on his face in BRIDE OF THE MONSTER?

I don't know if he rubbed it anywhere else...
If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

This seems to be a home movie...the sweater ....angora?

Lobo rubs the girls hat on his face...he sniffs it on occasion too...but is it angora...?

I know Ed did some work for soft-core director A.C. Stephen's....and appeared in drag in one of A.C. 's films in the 70's. It may have been LOVE FEAST or NECROMANIA.

It seems like I remember it's mentioned that the swatch is angora in the movie ED WOOD when Ed is directing Tor in BRIDE OF THE MONSTER.

Maybe I dreamed that.

That happens to me sometimes...  :twirl:

Welcome, queen of squirrels! Do you plan on forging a truce with Odinn7?

Either way, a movie club is a great idea!

I wonder what Ed Wood would do if he was alive today and knew that he was famous for being the world's worst director and there were Ed Wood film festivals and stuff.
I think Ed Wood's great
Thanks for making this discussion group!
