Featuring a group of gigantic puppets on sticks, and boasting lower production values than a high-school haunted-house fundraiser, this legendary '80's drive-in movie has become one of the most infamous B movies of all time.

Word spread in 2006 that a sequel was in the works. It has now been confirmed that Hobgoblins 2 is set for a DVD release in mid-2007.

I can't wait.

a great MST3K episode.  at dvdmaniacs they have "report cards" of directors.  I was shocked to see that this movie got the highest marks for this particular director.  i cna't imagine what his other movies are like other than truly awful indeed

I've actually tried watching the 1st Hobgoblins without the MST3K treatment and just had to shut it off in despair and disgust.

But the MST3K episode is classic.
