Does anyone else remember this film (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0277442/)?  I was originally going to post this in the "What Was That Film?" section, but then I figured I would try to find it on my own one last time, and I did! :teddyr:  (It seems that all this time I was searching on the term 'pancakes' when I should have been searching on 'pancake'.  Go figure.)

This film really freaked me out (in a good way) when I was a kid.  I saw it sometime in the 1970s at our local library (where I also saw, among others, "The Blob" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0051418/) and "Old Yeller" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050798/)!).

For those who haven't seen it, what little I can remember encompassed a woman and her kid living with this witch in a spooky old mansion, and they made psychedelic pancakes that when eaten produced a polka-dot, fish-eye lens wobbly camera special effect.  I really don't remember much else about the movie.  It's just that no-one else I've talked to about this movie can ever remember seeing it and they all think I'm nuts.

I would love to see this movie again just for the nostalgia, although I'm not sure I would like it enough to buy it.

BTW, this is my first post here.  Love the site!

Welcome aboard and I read the review at the Mystical Movie Guide:

LSD pancakes!  Yet another movie for my list of films to see and, drat it all, another that is currently out of print.  The 60's were just full of bizarre films that would never be made by people today, except as intentional comedies.

I had Harry Potter on my mind today, having recently watched one of the movies, when I revisited the aforementioned Mystical Movie Guide review of Winter of the Witch.  Do you suppose J.K. Rowling has ever seen this movie?     [See here]
