HOBGOBLINS and The Armed Services Oath

I call upon Andrew and all other current and former U.S. military personnel to perform their oath to protect this country from all threats, both foreign and domestic, by dealing with everyone who had any part in the making of the movie HOBGOBLINS. People may disagree with me about this, and I admit to not having seen every movie ever made, but HOBGOBLINS is the worst movie I've ever seen- and yes, I have seen The Beast of Yucca Flats.

I believe that the movie HOBGOBLINS presents a clear and present danger to our national sovereignty, our way of life, and, indeed, our sanity. If you haven't seen it, please don't. I don't want your blood on my hands if you decide to dive off a balcony because of its unrelenting, juggernaut-like stupidity. Although the people who made that movie have been smacked down by mst3k and, hopefully, haunted continuously by their own consciences, and will spend eternity in the lake of fire for their crimes against humanity, somehow the punishment doesn't seem like enough. The thing is, I can't think of anything that I can do to them that not only isn't illegal, but also that doesn't carry a life sentence.

hobgoblins rules.  WAY better than Gremlins

Welcome aboard, hanelpanel!

I actually have the non-MST version of this movie and, while it is very bad, I'm not certain it is so terrible when compared to things like "Weasels Rip My Flesh" or "Sextette."  It's probably a one slimer (maybe a very weak two slimer) in my book.  If memory serves, I actually like "Hobgoblins" a little better than "Munchies."

"The Beast of Yucca Flats" is a lot of fun.  Look at the progress!

I love the fact that when the producers of THE BEAST OF YUCCA FLATS decided on important dialogue to overdub (which wasn't very often), one of the select few scens was a conversation between a mother and her two kids about coyotes and pigs.

"We saw real live pigs. . . and a coyote!"

Classic stuff.

And yes, there are tons of movies much worse than HOBGOBLINS - Bill Hinzman's ode to incompetence, FLESHEATER, for instance.  WIZARD OF THE DEMON SWORD for another.  HOBGOBLINS is hardly the worst the world has to offer.

Kindest regards,

Kevin P.
