I've never seen this, but it's on Spike TV tonight.  It stars Goldberg, the wrestler.  Here's the description:

"Santa (Goldberg) is actually Satan, who 1,000 years ago lost a curling match to an angel. For a millennia, Satan/Santa had to be a good, giving and jolly fellow. But now the bet, and Santa’s good cheer are over as the ruler of hell has a naughty list and he aims to fill it. It will suddenly dawn on police what the once beloved Santa’s modus operandi is when the map in their mock station is filled with dozens of coloured tacks indicating crime scenes. As the bodies pile up, they realize the pins on the map are taking on the shape of a Christmas tree, giving authorities a clue as to where the naughty elf will strike next."

....which the Spike TV listings probably don't mention. This is a post from my Yahoo Group:

"On October 29th and 30th, watch for Prof. Griffin and Usher to
appear on SPIKE TV!

Spike TV will be showing two C-level horror movies for their Ghoul's
Gone Wild Weekend! And who better to host the event than television
horror hosts? Spike TV invited Prof. Griffin's Midnight Shadow Show
to join other current television horror hosts nation-wide to
participate in the event and after clearing it with our boss, Prof.
Lampini, we were delighted to accept.

So...watch for us to appear with other TV Horror Hosts on national
cable hosting Santa's Slay (starring former WWE wrestler Bill
Goldberg as an evil Santa Claus!) and Blood Angels (with Lorenzo
Lamas as a Vampire Lord).
I told you they were C-movies.

But they should be lots of fun...and of course we'll do our best to
make the pain a little easier to bear.

Goldberg as Santa....the mind boggles.

The other hosts are...Dr. Gangrene (from Nashville), A. Ghastlee
Ghoul (Dayton, OH) The Bone Jangler (Chicago), Baron Mondo Von Doren
(Pensacola, FL) and yours truly (Austin, Texas)
Both movies play in Prime Time, (Santa's Slay 7PM on Saturday the
29th and Blood Angels at 8PM on Sunday the 30th) Check local
listings.

Both are terrible. Santa's Slay is new from 2005 (Quality) and
Blood Angels stars Lorenzo Lamas.....need I say more?

It's NOT my Midnight Shadow Show and my beloved Universal Monsters
are FAR FAR away...but it's good exposure for us.

-Prof. Griffin"

I saw this on Spike the Tuesday night when it debuted and they stretched the blasted thing out to 2 1/2 hours with this Casino Cinema nonsense where the host and Bill Goldberg and two of the actors from SAW II played craps. Sadly, most of those lame segments were about as entertaining as the movie.

That's Spike TV.  I remember one Halloween I tried watching their Friday the 13th marathon - made it about 1/3 of the way through the first movie.  I think it was 55% commercails, 45% movie.

I revived this thread because I finally bought this DVD and found time to watch it.  It isn't very good, although it does have some entertaining segments and is somewhat better than I expected it to be.  I was REALLY surprised to see James Caan (uncredited) in the opening scene and was even mildly surprised to see Fran Drescher.  I can't recommend this movie, but it's an okay time-waster and it runs less than 90 minutes, so everything happens pretty quickly.  I'd say that it is above average compared to other Killer Santa movies, but it still leaves a lot to be desired.  My FAVORITE part is the animated sequence where they make it look like a demented Rankin/Bass holiday special.   Oh, and did I mention that Robert Culp is in this flick?

The Horror Hosts presence could only help, but , yeah...the commercials are so pervasive, i...just....can't make it! Woah,,,Shatner mode there....

HA! I would watch it just for that.

Bill Goldberg, Fran Drescher, James Caan, Chris Katan, , everyone in the opening scene is Jewish. Or at least that's what I've read.
Raw bacon is GREAT! It's like regular bacon, only faster, and it doesn't burn the roof of your mouth!

This was one of those flicks IMO that you can just watch the trailer and see all of the good parts.

The movie itself was surprisingly kind of a bore to me.

There were some good ideas in the film, but all in all it felt like they were trying too hard to make another Jack Frost or Uncle Sam.  While I don't feel that needless gore should pop up in every movie, this film was practically crying for it.  It felt like the writer just didn't know what to pack in between the killing and funny scenes, and just came up with general fluff.  All in all, still decent, especially considering I only paid about $2 for it.

Even though I've watched it twice I still remain torn. I don't even think Santa's Slay is a true horror film, even though elements are present.  It's more like an adult Christmas fairy tale aimed at kids. It's a lot of things but can't seem to please no matter what direction its heading.

Well, it was nice to see Robert Culp from Greatest American Hero get some work.
He learned almost too late that man is a feeling creature... and because of it, the greatest in the universe........

I also should add that after watching this movie, everyone in the room pretty much agreed that Bill Goldberg should never act again.  I know they were at one time considering him for the live action Dragon Ball Z to play Nappa.  I still don't think they should even bother with the movie, but if they do they should look elsewhere for a Nappa.
