SANTA CLAUS (1959) - Made in Mexico this is one film that all must see. Just to bizzare as Santa plays the organ while international children sing. While in his Golden Palace in the clouds the devil sends Pitch out to ruin Christmas. The story kinda follows a poor girl, a rich boy, and three bad kids. Santa has a special flower which can transport him to other places when he sniffs it and he has magic dust that he sprinkles to put the kids to sleep while he brings the kids their gifts. By the way Merlin the sorcerer gives Santa these magic items. When the little girl couldn't get her doll because she was to poor almost brought a tear to my eyes. This film must have inspired Pee Wee's Playhouse.

  (8 out of 10 Stars) Much better than SANTA CONQUERS THE MARTIANS (1964).

The Burgomaster

I had a VHS copy of this about 15 years ago.  This is a hilarious movie.
"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

I said pretty much everything I could about this amazing bad film in this thread:

It really is bad, but how can you not be entertained?  I do think that Santa should carry a magical broadsword with him, if he plans on doing battle with devils every Christmas Eve.

Sorry Andrew, I forgot you reviewed it over the holidays.  .

Pitch did do some interesting little dances, didn't he?  He appeared in the following:

Satan Lake
Carpathia

I am going to have to review this one, finally, for Christmas 2007.

Andrew, the whole world should see SANTA CLAUS. He does have that magic dust, but maybe everyone will see this film soon. It should be played right along with Rudolf and the Grinch every year during the holiday.
