My First Bad Movie of 2008 - JAKE WEST'S EVIL ALIENS

This film is EVERYTHING a bad movie should be!  Incredible gore!  Alien-impregnated Welsh farm girl!  Ultra hot paranormal reporter! Stereotyped gay actor! Stereotyped Star Trek nerd, desperately seeking alien romance!  AND HE GETS IT!!!!  Aliens being chased through a cornfield by a combine! Gratuitous rectal probing!  Cattle mutilations! Crucified crows! Crucified alien!  Welsh hicks!!!!   Shotgun fu!  Arrow fu!  I cannot think of ONE prerequisite for an incredibly bad movie that this masterpiece does not possess! 

OK, maybe I'm gushing, but this movie ROCKED!! It may well be the BEST bad movie of 2008!!  Every member of this board should rent this film tomorrow, watch it, and agree with everything I just wrote!  Then send my karma up to 5000 and vote me as ruler of Bad Movie Land for life!  Today the forum, tomorrow the world!!!  BWUHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Still, it was an awesome bad movie.

I'm going to rent this one today if possible, and subject the film to my ultimate test, if at any time during the film my wife says anthing along the lines of "you actually paid money for this?" I'll know you're right. Test results will be posted tomorrow, provided I get the movie tonight.

The best bad movie of 2008?  It came out in 2005 if I recall right... 

But yeah, very enjoyable.  I was amazed it was by the same director as the borderline unwatchable Razor Blade Smile.  My only complaint is my favorite character gets a lame death.

Poogie knew I was going to rent this so she didn't mention money, what she said was "You really got that movie, and you're actually going to watch it now, while we're eating dinner?". I had set up TV trays so we could watch while we ate, had to switch to Animal Planet right away, found a scene about probes a bit much. While my enthusiasm for this film is not as great as indianasmith's, I must say that while I don't think this would be the #1 bad movie of 2008 (came out in 2005, but was in the new arrivals at Blockbuster) it would certainly be in the top 10. It has everything indianasmith say it does.

The probe scene was . . . .well, the best thing you can say about it is that it was brief.  If only he'd HAD briefs!!!

I another thread I mentioned my first bad movie of the year was "Mars Needs Women" ... it's all uphill from here, I'm not sure you can get much lower. It really sucked bad.
