Technology - because it will lead to improvements in nearly all of the others, barring religion which should be personal and not national.

I agree with the technology...but I chose space travel...as that branch of technology is what facinates me the most.

It is hard to ignore technology, but I think my biggest wish is for education.  The more smart people in the world, the better (usually).

Actually the US gives away to much of it's technology for free.
GPS, Internet anyone?
We Americans paid to put it up there and private companies and other countries are getting rich off of it.
Same goes for weather satellites, the US paid most of them and every body uses them for free.
Global Tsunami warning systems

CDC information and vaccines
The Internet (US Military Invention)

What we could to is be real capitalist and pay off this debt by telling countries they have to start paying for our technology or we'll scramble it, like GPS signals. Which is often used against us.

I'm sticking with Technology, like the wheel, making fire, farming, construction, granted education is equality important but I believe man would learn, adapt and overcome regardless do to his inherent nature to explore ideas.

Well, bear in mind some important technology was pilfered or pirated (like nuclear fission).  When national security is at stake, tidbits were very closely guarded during the Cold War.  The absurd leaks in the naive past of wartime projects like "Manhattan," proved the undoing of the War's work.

That would be a "big" tidbit. I'm sure it's hard to keep a secret and that may be why our nation has chosen to make a profit at it. I'd have to look into how so many secrets can "leak" from secrecy before deciding it's ok to share technology with the world.
