This wasn't a movie, but it wasn't a regular tv series either so I figure I would put it here.

Anyway,  holy crap.  This starts off horribly.  Deeply deeply unfunny "pink Lady and jeff" esque variety show humor.  totally nonsensical jokes and musical numbers.  WHen DOnny and Marie show up, albeit briefly, you know the gates of bad tv hell have opened up wide.

Things actually improve due to the absurdity of the quite obviously gay Lynde playing a series of tough guys in sketches, making out with the likes of Pinky tuscadero and Florence Henderson.  adding to the surreality of this is lyndes sidekick for the episode: the wicked witch from "the Wizard of Oz" !

Though the show is but 50 minutes long KISS manages to do three songs, albeit in slightly shortened form.  "Detroit Rock City" "Beth" and one I hadn't heard called "Midnight Queen" or something that was AWESOME.

If you are gay and/ or a KISS fan I'd say this is a must see.  If yuo like serious schlock it's highly recommended as well.  includes crappy disco numbers sung by above celebrities
