The Wicker Man: Director's Cut (2006)

Quite simply the funniest "bad" film I have ever seen.

It may not be a B-movie, and it may have Nicholas Cage in a starring role but it's these very things that make it so laughable. I was sceptical at first, but some of the highlights include;

• -Nicholas Cage pulling out a gun and telling a woman to "STEP AWAY FROM THE BIKE"
• -Nicholas Cage punching and/or fighting several women unprovoked and occasionally DRESSED IN A F**KING BEAR-SUIT
• -Nicholas Cage getting a cage of bees put on his head and screaming "AAARRGH, NOOO, NOT THE BEES! THEY@RE IN MY EYES!!! ARRRGGGH!!!
• -The, now-infamous-among-my-friends, double wake-up, which for me is the benchmark for bad films. Few scenes could ever compare.

If you haven't seen it yet, do so. Don't let your love of the original come in the way because the only relation between these to films is the occasional snippet of dialogue.

I wisely waited until cable TV picked this one up...with all the modern technology existing today, it's refreshing to know that they can still make some intensely bad films.  There's hope for the future!
