Since I bought the movie "Dolls" on DVD I have been perplexed, in the main menu screen of the DVD there is a photo that isn't even from the film. of what appears to be someone tied down in a mental hospital or something??? since this whole movie happens in the middle of nowhere in an old house, this photo makes no sense to me.
does anyone know where this photo is from? because it is definitely not from the movie "Dolls" so why is it in the main title screen of the DVD?

Here's a link to the photo of the main title screen

if anyone knows where that scene on the left is from, please tell me.  :teddyr:

i'll be damned if that old dude in the suit doesn't look like lawrence tierney.

check out the imdb profile for a flick called the horror show. (aka house III)

interesting note:
QuoteThis film is actually unrelated to the "House" franchise of films. The producers renamed this film "House 3 (1989)" for the non-US market. Because of the existence of this title, the owners of the "House" franchise had to rename their third film House IV (1992)

Mr. DS

You know what, when I reviewed this film I thought the same thing about that title screen.  Sadly I don't know what it is from.

I think that's actually backwards; it was originally developed as part of the House franchise, but wandered so far afield in the development process that the U.S. release was given an unrelated title.

In the film, the HORROR SHOW, Brion James is put to death in an electric chair...and Lawerence Tierney is the Warden. The guy in the shot looks to be in an electric chair...and he appears to be having the Last Rites read to him. I think you may have it...! I've seen the HORROR SHOW man, many moons ago on Showtime...it's very close to Wes Craven's SHOCKER in plot.

Actually, Swamp Thing is a DC character. Marvel has Man-Thing. And believe you me, you do not want to watch the Man-Thing movie.

Then there is the DVD cover for Fred Olen Ray's Alien Dead, which shows an actress/character from one of his other films, Scalps.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.
