Not without the MST3K guys in the bottom right corner making fun of it.  :teddyr:

Oh, I have the un-MSTied version of this beauty.  It's, uh...something else.  You get to see, apart from the MST version, dialog segments that add nothing, a nip-slip courtesy of the gramma/daughter, various sledgehammer musical cues that hit like a sack of wet cats and you even get to see the elderly morgue attendant of the ship drink his afternoon tea!  Yay!

I guess it all adds up to another South African tax dodge without talent, effort or awareness of its inherent badness.  Think about it: it has Cameron Mitchell.  CAMERON MITCHELL.  Raise the red lantern, kids - this is the bomb to end all bombs.

And why John Dykstra didn't sue their Afrikkaner arses off for this is beyond me:

EDIT: and for anyone who's already seen this, you never find out what Professor Spooner looks like in the original version, either.   :hatred:

there was a topic here a while ago that was like what is the campiest thing you've ever seen.  I thought about it from time to time.  One of the top contenders was the room of naked hippy ladies in Space Mutiny doing seances or something.  With those ball things from Spencer gifts.

Trust me--there are a lot of B-movies I won't watch without the MSTK3 crew around---Space Mutiny is one of those of course--but so is The Atomic Brain.....talk about boring beyond belief.

WOW, you have the "Tea Scene" version, I'm a SOOOO jealous  :teddyr:

This movie really need Mike/Joel and the Bots for me to get through.  It has my favorite MST3K commetary.

This seems like the perfect companion piece to "Starcrash!" -- perhaps I'll do a double feature.  Perhaps I'll self-lobotomize with a corkscrew . . .
You have to love the "sampling" of TV's Battlestar Galactica, circa 1979.

I have no idea what this means.

This is awesome! The real Roger Corman spirit! No budget for special effects? Just use some footage from Battlestar Galactica. No money for sets? Just find an industrial site with lots of piping. And make sure that the female costumes are as revealing as possible.
