Isn't it strange that this movie should suddenly get two new reviews posted in one week out of the blue?  Weird but then so is the movie.  :bouncegiggle:

There's good post-apocalypse movies, bad post-apocalypse movies, and then there's Tank Girl.  I've heard this called a love it or hate it flick but, for me, it's mostly just baffling.  Fun at times but baffling.

My take is a little different, as is my source (the R1 DVD), but this is really one of those movies that'll either rub you wrong or really appeal to you.  Too, I think gender plays a big role in whether you'll like this or not.  At least that's my impression of Tank Girl.

What do you think?

Great review and some good links that I didn't know.

I went to see Tank Girl when it came out, and I actually liked it. Not a great movie, but fun while it lasted. Then again, my tastes in movies differ from most other people's.

Inexplicably, I saw this in the theater with a group of friends. I can not tell you how much I hate this movie. I still mourn the 2 hours I wasted sitting through this. It definitely rubbed ME the wrong way, and I found myself wanting to shoot the main character and then burn the cinema down to cleanse it.

But there are people who LIKED this movie? WOW! Learn something new every day, eh?

I saw this years ago and just thought it was stupid.  No plot, not an actual "movie" for that matter, just a bunch of inanity strung together.  It was way, WAY too dingy to appeal to me on any level whatsoever..
