Seeing as how the flick has about a 6.66% chance of actually being made, it looks like DC Comics' Wildstorm imprint, who has owned the comic rights to New Line's horror movie icons for a few years now (and used them to spawn some pretty throwaway mini-serieseseses...), will be giving readers a taste of what they'll probably never see on the big screen. There's a six-issue mini-series coming to comic stores starting the first week of November, which you can read about here at the DC webpage. Even if I weren't already intending to buy the series anyway, I'd have to pick up issue 2 for the wicked Eric Powell cover.

Even if you're not a comic fan, I recommend that everybody here check out his amazing self-made series The Goon, published by Dark Horse Comics. It's beautiful, hilarious, and features all the drunken monster stomping thuggery you could ever want from a comic! Dark Horse (the same people who bring us Hellboy) has reprinted the majority of the series in Trades. Check it out here... you know, if you're interested... cuz I'm starting to sound like a shill...

I always felt that F v J v A would be an awesome film.  SMart opens a store at Crystal Lake and all hell would ensue.

Sadly I'll have to settle for the comic.  My local "find anything" comic shop recently closed down so I'll have to hit Amazon or such for the comic.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

You know, I'm a fan of Bruce Campbell and everything...but I just don't see how a film like this could possibly work...at least not at this point.

i thought that freddy and jason were a mismatch, anyhow. i mean, what capacity to destroy freddy does jason have? on the other hand, if freddy kills jason, he'll just come back again and again, unless he steals his soul or some s**t.

freddy vs pinhead would make a better match. honestly, freddy might be a little outclassed, but they're more evenly matched, to my way of thinking.

you might figure that jason and michael myers make a better match, too. they're a little similar to make any sort of decent film, though. they're just gonna stare-down and hack eachother in the shoulders with machetes, right?
