Thanks everyone.  For a long time I have wanted to become a Gunny, so this was a proud moment - I'll make sure to live up to the standards.

I don't believe I'm a Lee Ermey, but I am known for correcting people (Marines, civilian GS workers, etc.) when something is wrong and they should have known better.  The promotion should just give me more horsepower to get the job done.  I know there were times I could have used it over the last few years.
