I've heard rumors and checked this out, apparently its in devolopment. I guess we can thank the writers strike for this one! I would have put this in bad movies but... they haven't made it yet :tongueout:

That said I wonder if it'll do any good?

I'd see this.  Long as Eddie's still in it.  Always liked him.

So this means that Beverly Hills Cop 3 did make enough money at some point to make another film in the series seem worthwhile.

Unless it'll be a direct to video sequel like the later Dr. Dolittle films featuring his character's daughter instead of Eddie Murphy.

Or will they just give Axel Foley a kid/sidekick.
blah blah stuff blah blah obscure pop culture reference blah blah clever turn of phrase blah blah bad pun blah blah bad link blah blah zzzz.....

If they do it'll really put one of the last nails on the coffin of eddy murphys career

I actually one of few I think who actually enjoyed BHC 3 but doubt I could deal with one more.

I liked Beverly Hills Cop 3 for its surreal feel. I mean, any movie where a toy train screams in agony when a guy steps on it is gold in my book. So, if they made a fourth I'd be eager to see to what new heights of insanity they'd take it.

I though BHC III was bad when I saw it on theatres, but with several viewings I've learned to appreciate its so-bad-it's-good appeal. I mean, you have to be John Landis to make a boring action movie, then mix almost childlike silliness with brutal action and edit the action scenes so lazily you wonder if film students were used as slave labour on the editing process.

But c'on, Eddie Murphy will film almost anything these days for a dish of soup, so you can consider they'll do a fourth instalment like a sure bet.
Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.
