I really think the beauty of doing a review whether it be on a site, blog, magazine, wherever is getting your view across on a certain film or subject. Once again, whats the point of going through the work to put up a review only to rip off someone's words? Oh well, go take em down Mr. B. Take them down hard.

Looks like he copied and posted them all within a span of about 36 minutes.
The last review at the botom of his page was posted at 9:02 pm and the first one at 9:38 pm.

It's flattering in a way for Andrew to be ripped off so frequently because he's probably pound for pound the best bad movie reviewer out there. The absolute nonsense behind this is mind boggling too, because the a-hole looks like he's stolen the reviews just so he could make people think he's funny and not to try and sell ad space or anything. This all happened back in 2006 and I don't see a single banner or link or anything that this schmuck could've used to make money off of his theft. Probably just trying to impress his friends with "his" insightful and witty take on bad movies. What a putz. Congrats on rooting out another poser Sir.

Well, unfortunately I did my "check a few reviews to see if they've been copied elsewhere" that I do every 3 or 4 months and...every single one of them had. Not a case of using part of the review, or anything like that (which could be fair use, depending). They either copied and pasted the entire review or the entire plot section every time. The one I posted up there was just the worst of the bunch. He's got stuff in his archives copied from here as well.

One of them is a Chinese site, and I know better than to waste time with that. All the rest are Blogger, on the IMDb, or places that are easy to notify with a complaint. I just have eight letters to create (lucky here, I have a template).

Wow...whatta shmuck. Even when I post pictures from old mags,I like to credit the source. I wouldn't mind if someone used some of my art...but to claim it as their own is like a form of artistic rape.

Damn right. Andrew always does a good job of explaining what about the movie he liked or didn't like and why. At least the guy only steals from the best.

Notification sent off to Google (owns blogger and blogspot), so it should be removed in the next few days. I was able to consolidate some and only had to do 4 letters for 8 different sites this time.

Again, annoying. I'd rather be writing (or watching a bad movie).

That went out around the time televisions became easy to get. Funny, dignity began with the mass distribution of information, and that's how it went out.
