My movie marathon continues and I have just finished these three films:

THE HORRORS OF SPIDER ISLAND - This 1960? German film is great stuff overall. Did anyone see when the plane goes down in the sea. The plane is doing a flaming nose dive and all of them survive. About 7 ripe burlesque dancers and there manager crash and they make it to this unihabited island. The manager cools off by taking a walk he gets bit by this nasty looking spider. Alot of dancers (you have to see the interview scene) with little to wear prance about the island while the bitten manager attacks the remaining group. Jazzy music plays thru this film just like in an early Corman film, but it works much better. This is an b/w exploitation film from SOMETHING WEIRD VIDEO with some great extras as well.

BLOODLUST - This is a gem with all kinds of surprises of macarbe. It also stars this young guy who also played Mr. Brady in the Brady Bunch tv series. This is a double feature with ATOMIC AGE VAMPIRE (which I haven't seen yet).

DEVIL GIRL FROM MARS - Fun 50's film. Well made visually I suppose and alittle like THE MAN FROM PLANET X. The whole film is about this lady from mars who wants to take a man back to help procreate because there was a war between the men and women on Mars and I guess the women won, so they need men. The thing is that all the men don't want to go but would rather blow up the spaceship instead (go figure). Some ridiculous scenes will keep you watching.

Each film had its own merit as far as entertainment. I wouldn't miss any off them.

Dang Scott, where do you find these movies? I need to update my sorrces.

Yeah, and in the case of THE HORRORS OF SPIDER ISLAND that would clearly be the Seven of Nine-ish presence of Babs! ; )

                                                         "GAAAARYYYY"!!

Netflix is working great for me Lee. I sold most of my VHS's for about $60 and plan to stay with Netflix for 3 months. They have 75 titles that I haven't seen yet. I might get to see about half of them in 3 months.

Lee

Cool. Next time I'm over at Netflix I'll look for tose you mentioned.
