80s vampire flick

Ok this has been troubling me for long, long time. It was something i watched about 15 years ago so memory of it isnt great. Its basically a teen vampire film in the vein of fright night or buffy the vampire slayer (but definitely not either of those films), I remember it had a blond cheerleader type in it who teamed up with your stereotypical 80s 'cool' guy to battle (i think) a family of vampires. An actual family like with grandpa and little kid vampires, there was one specific scene i remember where the vampires come across an 80's type gang and one of the gang members sarcastically says something like 'what kind of gang are you?' before they got torn apart.

there was also definitely a scene in a sewer with a surprise 'monster jumping out at you scare' and possibly a shot of the 2 leads on a motorcycle. i think it was set in L.A. and would (i guess) have been made in the early to late 80s.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

This sounds like it could be Vamp (1986) which starred Grace Jones and Chris Makepeace.
