Box office poison for a decade.

I don't care how hard he may try to play a character other than his persona, stuff him with tnt and tie him to everything he stands for.

But this role sounds perfect for him.

How can you say that?  Like him or not, his movies have generally made money.  In some cases, a LOT of money.

I'd say that means he's loved at the box office.

I think he's OK, hated Wild West, loved both MIBs, I Robot was good I thought. I remember hearing him on the radio in the mid-80's and thinking "WTF is this kind of music".

As for Ah-nold, I like him also. I don't see how he plays the same character, IMO, big difference between T2 and True Lies, The Running Man, Total Recall, Conan, and many others. He of course plays a muscled-up guy, , that's what he was, him to do otherwise would be like asking Andy Dick to play a muscled-up guy, or Charlize Theron to play an ugly chick (Oh wait, she did that already, not such a good example). Anyways, He's an action hero, so of course he's going to end up as a member of the military/police force and such more often, but I think he gets a bad rap here. Ah-nold gets a lot of flack for being stiff, but, his voice doesn't exactly sound like the voice of someone jovial or laid back, that's IMO a big part of why "Twins" didn't work. T2, T3, Running Man, Total Recall, Eraser, True Lies, are all films I like. Never cared much for Predator though.

I just hope there isn't a part in the movie where he says his trademark line "Aw, hell no!"
