Just taking a look at the reviews at rotten tomatoes and could not believe it! It looks like the definitive bad movie (it scores 3%). Only problem is that it looks severely mutilated, and, well, I expected some Romjin-Stamos nudity and more violence. Anybody seen it? I want opinions so I can decide if it is really worth when it comes to Europe.

Private Joker

No, but I've seen the old one.  It's pretty good.  I don't want to waste my money on that new POS.  And the trailers had dang Limp Bizkit songs!  FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Lee

I've seen it. It's pretty good. If it becomes a classic I'll s**t my pants from being so surprised(as in, it's not great). More violence and Rebecca naked would have made even better. Just go in and expect to have fun with it. And what's wrong with Limp Bizkit?! Those guys ROCK!!!

Private Joker

Nothing wrong with Limp Bizkit?  OK, their "Keep Rollin' Rollin'" song fits the movie OK and the song's not too bad ::cringes:: but it's got a snowball's chance in hell of beating Bach's Tocatta and Fugue.  That fits the movie better.  If you don't know what song I'm talking about, it's, you know, that song the vampire always plays on his organ.  Look for a MIDI of it.  It fits the movie VERY WELL.

And Rebecca was naked in the original script (full frontal nude scene) along with much more violence.  It was originally "R".  Sorry buddy.  Maybe it'll appear on a director's cut.

Scott

Hey Joker, that would be neat music for a rollerball movie. I mean the Dracula music would fit nicely.

Private Joker

No, Tocatta and Fugue was in the original.  Look on Turner Classic Movies and Rollerball might be on again.  But be warned: TCM doesn't cut out nudity or swearing.  The only nudity in the original is a group shower scene with all men.  Eeeewwww.

Scott

Ill have to watch it again for the music that your talking about. Its been along time since I seen it.

Lee

Yeah Tocatta and Fugue is a cool piece of music. Probably one of the best ones we listened to in my Music Appreciation Class.  I must admit, the opening shot of the original Rollerball was pretty cool and the music really did fit.

Private Joker

For you people that don't know what piece of music starts off the original Rollerball, it's here.  Type in www.midiworld.com/cgibin/x.cgi/mid/bach/tnfdm.mid.  After all that work, you'll see how Limp Bizkit can't compare with Bach for picking a better tune for the movie.

Private Joker

OK, tried the link and it wouldn't work.  Just go to midiworld.com and look under classical music, then Bach.  Look for Tocatta and Fugue in (D Minor?).  Sorry for any inconvinience.
