MIRRORS

I had a chance to go to an "unofficial" early preview of this film (ahem) and I thought Mirrors was mildly creepy. Not a plot about splitting the atom or anything but personally some of the concepts this film played on with images in mirrors have always been spooky in my mind. (For instance I have this habit of not looking in mirrors when I pass them in a dark room at night, ha). Soooo, Mirrors is an above average horror flick that is worth a couple hours and ten bucks, if you like the genre.

I'm a fan of Aja after High Tension and the Hills have eyes remake.  Was this movie as brutal as those?

I'm actually really interested to see this one. The typical run of new horror films has been disappointing but the trailer piqued my interest for sure. Probably because I've just come off seeing "The Orphanage" (a film the really surprise me) and it looked to have a similar feel.
