Here in Southern New Jersey we have a few things people like to do in the Summer. Yesterday we attended two events one was the annual Airshow in Atlantic City with the USAF Thunderbirds and the other event was a Philadelphia Phillies Baseball game were they were sold out because is was "bobble head" night, but we got in for standing room only for about $14 a ticket. Here's some clips from both events.

Where do you all live and what are your main Summer time activities in your area?

Mr. DS

RI.  This year lots of vegetable gardening, spending time at shore side fishing and evening walks in my neighborhood with my son.  The nights are getting cooler around here which is a blessing and a curse.  Blessing because it makes for a comfortable night's sleep.  Curse because summer is almost over.

Here in NYC I'm usually just out more. Going to parks and punk/hardcore shows that I do all year round but theirs alot more free shows at parks and such. Their was a huge punk show at Governs Island that was ok but it was their first time doing so can't blame them.

I usually try to hit a few Phillies games if I can.  Cheap tickets run like, $15-$20.

I usually also go the Jersey Shore for a week in September.  It's still nice out right around Labor Day, plus it's a hell of a lot cheaper, costing almost $200 less than if it were July or August.
