Shocker (1989) my thoughts

Wow, I've seen some stupid movies but this takes the cake. The film is basically a bad unproduced "Nightmare on Elm Street" sequel with a different kind of gimmick for the killer. There were so many moments that made me go "What the hell?". Highlights include the killer getting his powers after some sort of spirit says "You got it, baby", the killer possessing a little girl and hijacking a bulldozer to kill the hero, when the ghost of the hero's girlfriend fights off the killer by shooting a laser beam out of her breasts and finally the television chase, you know what I'm talking about. I can't see the remake reaching those levels of stupidity.
BTW Am I the only one who got a "SAW" vibe when the police were investigating the killers hideout?

I agree with you on this one, although I've always kinda enjoyed when I whenever I've watched it. I looove the soundtrack though, I bought the original LP years ago, some great stuff from Paul Stanley, Saraya and Dangerous Toys 

Funny it came out the same year as House 3: "The Horror Show" seeing as both films are practically identical.
