Alien Movie Sometime in the 2000's

Trying to figure out the name of an Alien movie that I watched about five years ago (guessing), so it was probably made sometime in the 2000's.  Here is what I can remember.  Seems like it was on an island.  The aliens were cloaked and their ship was cloaked and it was on the side of a hill or small mountain - there was some kind of visual trick that made it appear like it was just rocks.  One of the characters was an older man that was heavy set.  He was in a field with a couple of co-workers and they were trying to gather data by the use of an RC (Remote Control) airplane that they were flying overhead.  The cloaked aliens were attacking the people there.  One of the guys in the movie took off in a jeep and was driving by the shoreline.  He stopped and came across some girls.  The aliens attacked them.  In the end they set some explosive charges on the hillside where the cloaked ship was.  I would appreciate it is someone recognizes what movie this is and tells me the name of it.
