The Burgomaster

Does anyone know anything about this movie?  (I'm asking this question too late because I already ordered the DVD).  The tagline is: "Beyond your most evil desires the beast awaits..."  It looks pretty bad.

Below is a link to the trailers (which would make most people NOT want to see this movie . . . I could barely stay interested until the end of the trailers . . . the movie must be a real cure for insomnia).

One character's name is "Andrew Milligan".

If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

It's baaaaaad!  :buggedout: You've pretty much seen the whole thing if you watch the trailers.

The Burgomaster

I finally got around to watching this and it is absolutely PUTRID.  And not in a fun, B-Movie way. Just in a bad, awful, boring, putrid way.  Most of the movie is padded with so-called "abstract" psychedelic color shots of . . . well . . . absolutely nothing of any relevance.  It is hard to hear the dialogue in some scenes (maybe that's a good thing) and the dialogue synching is terrible . . . the actors' (and I use that term in a functional way only . . . I don't intend to imply there is any acting TALENT in this movie) lip movements are rarely in sync with the audio.

The worst part is the "making of" feature where the "director" rambles on and on without ever forming a complete, coherent sentence.  He tries to come across as an artist whose life as an only child in a small town shaped his emotions and led him to make this movie.  He talks on and on pointlessly about film and art and emotion and abstraction, but makes no sense whatsoever.  It's very self-serving and stinks of "hey, look at me."  All it confirms is that the guy is a no-talent geek.

And the worst part is, I fell into the trap and bought this piece of crap.

You've been FRANKENSTEIN'S BLOODY NIGHTMARE-Rolled!  :bouncegiggle:

It can be awfully difficult to resist the siren song of some of this crap. I should have a whole shelf dedicated to "What Was I Thinking?!?" movies.

With this film and FRANKENSTEIN'S BLOODY TERROR all we need now is a movie called FRANKENSTEIN'S BLOODY MESS and we'll have a Frankenstein's Bloody Trilogy!
If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.
