Dead Heat - how did this slip by my radar for so long?

Just bought and watched Dead Heat.  It's a zombie buddy cop action comedy, starring Treat Williams and Joe Piscopo, with supporting roles by Darren McGavin and Vincent Price!  I don't get how this one isn't better known!

I quite enjoyed it.  Lots of those bad 80s one liners that I love so much, a decent amount of action and more gore than you'd probably expect - all of the physical effects are really good too.  Treat Williams is great, and Joe Piscopo is actually decent, amazingly enough.

Also quite amazing to me, it has a Divimax DVD, with a bunch of features, including a number of deleted scenes, an audio commentary, screenplay, promos, presskit, etc.  And, of course, it's only $5 on amazon.com.  I think any B-movie lover would appreciate this one.

Psycho Circus

Yes, I'm a big, big fan of this film and I always recommend it to people who like zombie flicks, buddy cop flicks or action/comedy films in general. I had an old Fangoria magazine that featured this film just before it's release and I always wanted to see it, 10 years later I did and loved every minute of it. I got my copy for about $2 and the DVD is worth every penny for the extras

Doc Daneeka

Got this one recommended to me on the recommendations thread, and I'm planning on getting it for Christmas

For the latest on the fifth installment in Don Coscarelli's Phantasm saga.

Mofo Rising

They used to play this on HBO all the time. I really liked it, but when I tried watching it a few years ago I didn't think I sat through it.

I have a VHS copy around here somewhere. I'm going to have to give it another shot.
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.
