Asian HK movie from 1980's ( not kung fu movie). A sci-fi - everyone lives in an  under ground city . Undercover cop - falls in love with girl.  At the end of the movie the leader of the 'bad guy' turns out to be a robot.  Any clue what this is??  thanks

no future cops came out 1993, the movie I am looking for came out in the mid 80's and not as silly

you don't know the 'bad guy' is a robot until the very end of the movie.

Was this movie something like a "Blade Runner" rip-off? or was this an early anime movie?

I  have found it, " the Final Test" 1987 starring :Austin Wai Tin-Chi, Sam Tak (Bo Lee), Chin Siu Ho.
