This is the title of a project by the avant-garde music and visual arts group The Residents.  I used to have a vinyl LP of the soundtrack.  Apparently, it was originally supposed to be a film call Vileness Fats, which was shot completely on video tape in 1972.  The whole thing was shot in a studio apartment.  The project was shot over several years, but eventually got shelved and was never finished, with over 14 hours of footage shot.  In 1984 it was edited and released under the title Whatever Happened to Vileness Fats.  Another re-edited version was released on DVD in 2002, apparently about 30 minutes long.

There is no clear-cut plot that I've been able to find, other than it takes place in a town called Vileness Flats, which is under siege by bandits (in the form of shopping carts?) who are stealing the meat supply, forcing the village to exist of vegetables.  The leader of the bandits turns out to be the villages own spiritual leader.  The village hires Siamese twin tag-team wrestlers to save them.  Somewhere in the plot is an Indian princess whose lovers always die.

Has anyone seen this?  I'm wondering if it is worth trying to track it down.
I don't always talk about bad movies, but when I do, I prefer badmovies.org
