Everyone knows The Onion is totally a joke, right? Satire, silliness, nothing else? OK, just checking.... Looks like the publication's great tradition of lampooning our elected officials (and the national mood) lives on. Given the climate of the country, left and right, I thought this was funny in a zeitgeisty way:

The Onion is almost always hilarious.. One I remember and still love is the article "Fun toy banned because of three stupid kids.." That one I love and everytime I read one of those type of articles I think of the Onion.

Check out their video podcasts. Those are truly hilarious. 12 year old Boy scouts giving breast exams for merit badges, Presidents schedule for alien invasion (which is the plot outline of every alien invasion movie ever), etc.
