This has been a crazy week for us, weather wise.  Monday it did not get above freezing all day long; today, I was able to grill burgers for suppoer in my shirtsleeves - I think the high was near 75.

So, what's it like in your neck of the woods?

In a word, crappy.  We've had snow, freezing rain, and wind that blew snow all over the place and created a blizzard last Sunday.  I'm hoping the weather will settle down soon.

85% of snow that fell last weekend melted last night thanks to heavy rain and warmer weather making way for sunny conditions today with highs in the upper 40s.  On Christmas Eve, the snow melted so fast that it literally sounded like a river was flowing down my street.

Was in shorts and a tshirt all day.  The benefit of living in the southern hemisphere is not having to worry about snow at christmas.

It was actually a perfect day: sunny, warm without being too hot and generally joyous all round.  Now all I need is to get rid of this cold I have and I'm all set for New Years!

Christmas Eve cold and snowy, Christmas day just cold.

The great thing about today is we had a fire in the fire place since this morning.  The fire is gone now but the embers are still crackling.

It's been sunny here in the mornings (is today), but then just wet and dull later in the day.

Let's just say it looks a lot like Christmas around here  :teddyr:  We've been getting a few inches of snow about every other day for at least a month.  Seems that way anyway.  I've lost track of if it snowed on Christmas, or maybe Christmas eve.  It definitely was snowing one of those days.  It was -9 F Christmas morning.  That's okay, I love snow.  Everyplace you look it's like a Christmas card.

Soggy Christmas eve. Pretty mild Christmas day. I think it's pretty mild again today but I haven't set foot outdoors. Been too busy eating myself into the ground. We made a lot of good stuff this year, including 7 pies, a couple of sweet breads and a flan. This is for 5 people.

December has been the weirdest on record. We've had hot weather (80's) and freezing weather (20's). We had hail, pouring rain, tornados, sleet, freezing rain, black ice, regular ice, snow flurries and tonight we might have tornadoes again. Most of this was within a 2 week timeframe. Christmas was humid and warm, vs the night before which was cold as hell.

I'm currently in the Orange Free State and it was 40 degrees celsius [I think that is about 104F) here. Net result: Christmas by the pool.

Lots of beer too ~ which didn't touch sides, I can tell you.  :teddyr:

Less than a week ago it was a wet 6F degrees, one of those bone chilling colds. Todays it's going to be in the mid 70's F .... thank goodness for global warming.

Crap-Ola.... Yes this is a palm tree.  We do not get this sort of weather much.

Usually, it's cold and snowy.

But come Christmas morning in Philly, it was rather warm.  Felt around 60/65 ish.  Odd.

Below zero F in the mornings, up to 10-15 during the days, but lots of wind. .
