I think it's just the favor packet, it's about 99.9% salt with a dash of bullion. The noodles should be like most noodles with only a touch of salt in them. I rarely use the so called favor packet and find some equally unhealthy additive to put with it like Teriyaki Sauce which in mostly salt or Hoisan Sauce, Fish Sea Kitten Sauce etc.
