Long Load Times & Page Hangs

Just wondering if anybody else has been having trouble the last week or so with incredibly long load times and page hangs here on the forum.

It only appears to be with this forum.  All other sites I visit do not do this.
A page will take forever to load.  Sometimes it'll go to switch and hang at a white screen.  Other times it will hang on a black screen.
The navigation from page to page feels very "jerky", as if it's struggling to load.

The other day it was so bad that I just gave up and left.  When I came back later it was fine.

It seems to run fine in the morning and evening, but anytime during the middle of the day it's really slow.

Been happening to me too - particularly bad yesterday and today it seems. I have checked some other sites and they seem okay.

I've actually got this problem more or less too. The site seems to work fine for anything from five  minutes to half an hour before attempting to open a particular page seems to take forever to load.

Actually runs better in the evenings for me. Okay at the mo'.

Seems to be better for me now too - I think it is making a liar out of me.

I know what was causing this, and it was a server-side problem.  While the issue should be resolved, I also made some changes that should prevent the pages from loading slow in the future, even if the issue crops up again.

Stuff always has to happen when I am away or otherwise preoccupied.
