OK, This has to be the cheesiest plot yet from Sci-Fi Original Films.

A B-29, delivered by a crew of pretty WAAF's to Hawaii near the end of World War II, is diverted to deliver a top secret cargo to a covert U.S. base near Japan.  Over an unnamed atoll, they get attacked and forced down by giant pterdactyls, unittlingly released from their underground lair by Japanese soldiers, who are mostly pterdactyl poop now. So they have to get off the Island using a damaged B-29, and some captured Zeros, while managing to corral the last three Japanese on the island as prisoners.  Oh, and yes, there is some romance, some character conflict, and an  "accidental" nuclear detonation.

I must have missed this one when the History Channel ran it!
