and coo coo and coo coo.  anyone remember this?  diaper man.  stong man.  bunch of other funky guys?  It was mixed in with tom and jerry and bugs bunny.  i don't know what era it was from but it was pretty good.

Got the dvd set last month, there was also rope man, tornado man and the rather bizarre cuckoo man.

I vaguely recall they had very formulaic plots a la popeye or Casper

It was always, villian shows up, commits crime, mighty heroes go to stop him, screw up, try again and defeat him  :teddyr:

casper was even worse.  it's like they were making propaganda films or something.  did any of the ever think "hey lets have casper do somethign else, like fly a kite"

who wouldn't be a fraid of the ghost of what wold appear to be a little boy?

nice.  strongman just threw a car in the air and forgot about it.  i've never seen superpresident.  He looks like one of the amigously gay duo.

yeah it wasn't too hard to get a cartoon on the air.  I don't know if you've seen There is an episode of sealab 2021 that is just an episode of the old sealab 2020.  even with editing like half of it out it's still as boring as hell.

Yeah, I remember watching it. It was--and is--one of my all time favorite series of cartoons. It dates from the late '60's, and was one of the first things that Ralph Bakshi ever worked on.

CUCKOOMAN,STRONGMAN,ROPEMAN,TORNADOMAN and DIAPERMAN kind of campy and fun
