Oh no indeed everybody.  I have an awful bad feeling about these movie already.  Most adaptions of the fighter video game movies seem to blow (Street Fighter 1 & 2, Mortal Kombat 2, and Dead or Alive), so should we have really any high hopes for these films.  Well, no really.  Anyways, Tekken is being directed by the guy who did Halloween 4 & Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid.  The King of Fighters is directed by Gordan Chan (I have no clue who he is and I don't know any of his movies).  Anyways, what do you guys think about these movies coming to us in the near future?

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

How appropriate that we get a Tekken movie, 20 years AFTER it was popular.

Only good 'beat em up' film adaption I can think of right now is the first Mortal Kombat.  It wasn't great, but was about as good a film it could be, considering it's based off a fighting game with a limited plot.

I know that there are about 5783 King of Fighters games out there, but who really gives a crap about seeing a movie based on those games?  I may be interested if they have an appropriately costumed Mai, though!

Both of these movies ought to be straight-to-video.

Tekken maybe... but King of Fighters? I'd rather see a Guilty Gear or Soul Calibur movie... That would be something!

I don't even know King of Fighters.  Which I'm guessing is good?
