I'm a word nerd, and, in a fit of insomnia mixed with exhaustion, I came up with this topic last night  :tongueout:.

What pairs of words can you come up with that use the same letters, only two of the letters are switched? Examples: Voila/viola, form/from, barley/barely. Try to stick to words of five letters or more. I spent way too much of last night trying to come up with a barely barley joke, and needless to say, failed. That's what happens when I get exhausted, though: I never know when to give up on a hopeless conundrum...

Carp and crap, but those are only four letters.  I seem to use a lot of four letter words.

If we take the word RACECAR and rearrange some letters we get....RACECAR!
