Okay, so this is a film I caught bits and piece of awhile back.  Basically it's this single mom who's raising a young autistic boy (think he's about six or so) and the plot revolves around the fact that a lot of the people who associate with this kid seem to turn up dead, and we're lead to believe maybe the boy (despite his seeming inability to do much on his own) is killing them.

Among the other victims is another boy, about eight or so, who's bullying the child and then he later turns out drowned in a nearby pond or something.  In addition, the child has this habit of constantly turning the TV to the All Shootouts and Explosions Channel, implying that he seems to dig violence.  (Seriously, EVERY time he turns the TV to this channel, there's a movie with a shoot out in progress, it's like they're running an endless loop of those things.)

Maybe "The Pit" that was an 80's movie I think, you might wanna check it out.The only thing is I think the characters may have been a little older. Good Luck

Some more details I forgot,

The boy has a therapist (or something) a man who helps him out with stuff.  The twist at the end is that the therapist is not only the killer, but the boys real father (how the "mom" doesn't know this I'm not sure... maybe the boys adopted?  Or she's an Aunt or something?)

I believe the house in the movie has this old "dumb waiter" type thing that leads down to the cellar.  At one point the kid and his mom crawl in there and use it to escape.
