Painful things that celebrities have done?

I don't know if he was joking when he said it, but Phil Oakey of The Human League allegedly told a journalist that he had had a piercing through his .....ermmmm.... er.... male organ. 

I cannot imagine anything more painful than that.

Jonathan Brandis, who played Lucas Walenczak on Seaquest DSV, attempted to hang himself.  He finally died a day later in the hospital.  That day must have really sucked.

Christian Bale's tirade on the lighting guy was painful for his career and painful for me to hear since im a little obsessed with him      That being said,  I gotta give thumbs up to Seth MacFarlane for making it hilarious in a family guy episode.
