Freddy's Nightmares? Monsters? Tales from the Darkside?

Hello again, May I ask some questions about Freddy's nightmares and Monsters the show? Wait ... Maybe it was Tales from the Darkside , who knows ...

Anyway ... Im still looking for the one with the Babysitter that turns into a monster then locks the doors and trys to kill the kids ... any clues? I do remember the mom saying b4 she went out- "be warned" or something like that, "my kids are monsters." Please help if you can, and thanks in adv.

That's an episode of Amazing Stories.

She creates giant lizards (from the kids' pet horny toads), a big monster in the closet, and some natives from what I remember to terrify the kids into behaving.  When the Mom comes home, her kids are suddenly well behaved and the babysitter leaves, singing a voodoo chant as she walks out the door.

The chant was something like, "Ay-ay-ay, jump a joy fa ja!"

Earlier on there had been a couple of other babysitters the kids chased away.  They gave one lady an entire box of chocolate Ex-lax and she had to go to the hospital.

Thanks for the help but thats not it, I looked up your answer "the sitter" and it was a Jamaican babysitter, The babysitter I remember was white. The kids- boy and a girl.

i think i remember this one.  the babysitter for some reason tries to eat the kids and there was one scene i remember, the children tries to escape and the babysitter slams the doors shut turns around with a monster face and says, "no one leaves till im full!"  then it turns out to be come kind of night mare, but when the kids meet their babysitter for that night, she was the exact same person that tried to eat them earlier.  if this is the one, it's freddy's nightmare, pretty sure about it

Holy Crap! I think thats it! But that youtube video don't show her as a monster yet so I can't tell, Did anyone ever see this episode? ... It really looks it though. Wow after all this time, I hope it replays on TV again. hhglnd- Thanks a million.
