GREG THE BUNNY: Eh, it has it's moments.

I saw the new TV show GREG THE BUNNY on Fox (go figure). So how is it? Well, imagine a TV version of Peter Jackson's MEET THE FEEBLES that has somewhat the same concept, but different plot eliments and tuned down so as it's not too adult like Jackson's version. The result: could have been so much better since the hype got all over it.

The plot: Fabricated American's, or puppets, live alive and well amongst us humans. Greg the Bunny gets a job on a children's cartoon show with the help of his friend (Seth Green) who is not accepted well by his father (Eugene Levy).

The good: It's nicely shot and the puppets, though mean, are rather cute and well created. Also, Seth Green brings about a helpful performance and Eugene Levy is good as the director of the childrens program. And the voice of Greg gives theshow some carry-on.

The bad: It's shot on hand-held steadycam like MEET THE FEEBLES and it has almost the same plot of Jackson's classic in which a character joins a group of theatrical performers who are having some problems with themselves. Also, Seth Green's performance may be helpful, but it's not enough. And Eugene Levy, though good as the director of the program, does not have the specific agressiveness as one would thing a director has and his character is too much of a  wimp.

In the end: Okay, so this is from Fox. As much as I love THE SIMPSONS and TITUS, and finding that FUTURAMA is an okay viewing experience, I already dislike THE 80's SHOW and THE BERNIE MAC SHOW. So GREG THE BUNNY might not last that long. Oh well, we don't need a MEET THE FEEBLES rip-off made for TV viewers. I can watch the Peter Jackson flick and laugh at it more that GREG THE BUNNY.

I refuse to watch simply because Seth Green p**ses me off. I don't know what it is, I just can't stand him.

I really liked it. I don't think it was great but it did have it's great moments. If it lasts longer than That 80's Show and Bernie Mac I'll be happy
