I was all set to dismiss this as basically the liberal version of that kirk cameron left below movie (or as shock magazine called him "growing pains s**tstain kirk cameron") and it kind of is but it kicks ass so I gotta give it props instead.  It's just a disaster movie with a serious case of the bug squirmies/ don't get contaminated oh no you are contaminated we can't help you you have to cry in the window sort of thing.  upon later reflection elements of it don't make tons of sense, like how is it that we are all still alive if a thing that can kill all of humanity once roamed the earth, I mean I'm not a scientist but even I understand the concept of the food chain, and other things but you won't think of that as it's happening so don't worry about it.  

 If you watch ALOT of these type of movies it will probaly seem not so clever in places but in general it's very entertaining if moderately to very disgusting in places.  the female heroine is especially good. 5/5
